The long spring of 2013 has concluded with my hair turning silver while I try to survive.
This move has been one hell of an endurance test; and not just for my spirit. It’s been what I can only describe as ‘a horrendously organised but satisfactorily executed mess’. Things are finally settling down now and the writer in me is crying for some freedom from the constant 50-things-I-have-to-do-today routine I’ve picked up during the whole saga.
The best news is that my internet has returned, so updates should be forthcoming, although whether that may be in writing or other forms, I can’t say. My writing has taken a slumbering backseat since April, when I moved. and it’s fair to say that my backlog is huge. While its a game of catchup, any writing for Tumblr may not be a real priority.
Before this all happened I was exploring publishing options for several of my short stories, and that has become priority again.
Truth be told though, I’m just glad that things are finally settling.
Here’s proof for posterity’s sake of my hair silvering throughout this whole process: a horrendous, over-exposed selfie of my face. I always said that when it started to happen, I’d stop dying my hair with blood red highlights. I guess the time has come, and I’m a little sad of the fact.
For those who follow this blog for my writing, I’ll be sure to give you something soon, thank you for your patience with me.
